Enrollment Process

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

Evansville Lutheran School admits students of any race, sex, color, or national or ethnic origin. Preference is given to children who are members of our Lutheran School Association churches and affiliated congregations. More on requirements can be found following the related link.

The best way to experience the ELS difference is to visit our school! Parents and students are encouraged to tour the school, observe classes, talk to teachers/staff, and ask questions. Personal tours may be scheduled at your convenience.

To begin the application process, please click the "Create an Account" tab at the top of the page to create an application account. From there, you will be instructed to create a login, password, and verify your email via a message to your email account.

AYou have the flexibility to log in and out of your application account without losing your data as it will autosave. There will be a green check mark for each section once you have completed all required fields.

Once all required fields of the application are complete, you must select "Review & Submit." You will then be instructed to pay the application fee of $25.

Please be sure that all required documents are provided to the admissions office:

  • Diagnostic or Psychological Evaluations (IEP or 504 Plans), if applicable.

  • Physical Examination form

A Physical Form, including immunization record, is required by the Indiana Dept. of Health for each new enrollee and for students entering Kindergarten, and 6 th grade. Completed forms are due before the 1st day of school.

School Choice & Tuition Assistance (deadlines apply) – ELS is a participant in the Indiana School Choice programs including vouchers and SGO. These programs work together to make Christian education accessible for more families. We encourage all families with potential financial needs to inquire about the programs and affordability opportunities. Contact the Admissions Director for information.

Free & Reduced Lunch Paperwork - If you are applying for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program please submit paperwork to the Business Administrator or contact the Business Office to set up a meeting.
